Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, former vice-presidential candidate of Labour Party, has stated former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, sent him harsh text messages over comments he made in the past about ADC
In an interview with Trust TV, Ahmed stated that some other political leaders also strongly disagreed with his views and criticized him for the things he said at the time.
Ahmed, however, stated that many of those things he said have now turned out to be true. He said those who attacked him should apologize to him on newspaper
In Ahmed words: “B.D Lawal was one of those who sent me to stinkers by text, even our other leader. He sent me very bad texts because of things i said that has turned out to be true, they should please rent pages in newspaper and apologize to me”
