The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has launched a major support initiative aimed at helping stranded Nigerian families in South Africa return home and rebuild their lives.

At a time when discussions around migration, humanitarian relief, and faith-driven action are becoming increasingly intertwined, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has stepped forward with an initiative to support stranded Nigerian families in South Africa, encouraging them to consider coming back home.

The cleric revealed that his decision to act was sparked by persistent reports and videos showing Nigerians being subjected to violence abroad, which he said deeply troubled him.

As part of the resettlement plan, he disclosed that a mini estate has been secured in Port Harcourt to house returning families.

Eligible beneficiaries primarily married couples with children who lack the financial means to return on their own would go through a screening and verification process before being admitted into the programme.

Once resettled, their children would have access to free education, while adult family members would be enrolled in skill acquisition programmes designed to help them rebuild their livelihoods and reintegrate into society.

Apostle Chinyere clarified that the initiative does not cover the cost of travel back to Nigeria, but noted that he is reaching out to government officials and airline stakeholders in hopes of securing some form of assistance in that regard.

He added that beyond housing, the support package would also include daily provisions and structured reintegration services, all aimed at easing the difficulties that come with returning home whether by choice or necessity.
