The founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has narrated how he counseled a church member who became angry with God after being denied a visa despite allegedly sacrificing everything financially and spiritually for the process.………
Suleman shared the story during a recent sermon posted on YouTube while teaching on faith, disappointment, and trusting God beyond personal efforts.
According to the cleric, he noticed the young man had suddenly stopped attending church for a long period and later decided to find out what happened. “I didn’t see a brother in church for a long time,” Suleman recalled.
He explained that after meeting him personally, he discovered the man was no longer praying, reading his Bible, or actively practicing his faith because of frustration over a rejected visa application to Australia.
Narrating the incident further, Suleman said the young man had secured admission into a school in Australia and became fully convinced he would receive the visa.
According to him, the applicant sold his belongings and invested heavily into the process because he believed his prayers and sacrifices guaranteed approval. “He said he had fasted, prayed, and sold everything,” the preacher stated.
However, the embassy allegedly rejected the visa application without even asking him questions during the interview process, leaving him deeply disappointed and angry with God.
The cleric said the man complained bitterly that he had “connected everything,” dropped sacrificial seeds, and exercised faith, yet nothing worked out.
Suleman explained that the disappointment pushed the young man into spiritual withdrawal and resentment toward God. “He was very angry at God,” the preacher added.
Responding to the situation, Suleman said he gave the man a surprising explanation for the rejection. “I said, ‘That’s why you will not get it,’” he recounted.
