BREAKING: NASS: APC members storm ward collation for primaries

Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Saturday stormed several political wards to participate in the House of Representatives party primaries in the state.

The exercise which took off around 12noon across the 30 local government areas of the state with supporters of different candidates waiting for the primary committee to arrive for the exercise.

At Ward 3 Apoun collation centre in Osogbo, local government party members were queuing for their respective aspirants.

At Ward 8 in Olorunda, local government party members were waiting for the committee members to arrive for the exercise to take off.

Meanwhile, APC youth leader in Ward 8, Kehinde Lawal, assured that the exercise will be peaceful despite raising tension between supporters of Ibrahim Taofeek and Afees Durojaiye.

“Once the committee gets to the venue, the exercise will take off, and I can assure you that it will be peaceful,” he said.
