The news regarding the tragic death of the respected Elderstateman, it can be recalled, had generated grievous concerns after the reports surfaced online, with many sending condolence messages to the family.
However, Chidi Odinkalu, according to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, raised serious concerns over the circumstances surrounding the death of Abba Anas.
The house of assembly member from Jigawa State was abducted while on his way to Abuja from Kano, an incident which triggered massive public attention.
However, he passed away shortly after due to health complications as he was believed to be asthmatic. According to Chidi Odinkalu, Abba Anas also suffered from high blood pressure.
