A family’s joy and hope have been restored after a desperate search for their missing kin, which had lasted over a year, finally ended in relief.
Jordan Augustine Omuse disappeared on March 16, 2025, during chaotic scenes linked to the Kawempe North by-election.
He reportedly ran away after seeing armoured vehicles and security personnel, leaving his family confused and distressed. For over a year, the family lived in anguish with no information about his whereabouts.
A breakthrough came when the family was watching television and spotted a child who looked like Omuse in the background.
