For those wondering about the whereabouts of Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna, following the demise of his friend, Alex Ekubo, Kemi Filani has got you covered.
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 40 years old.
In a heartbreaking statement, his family announced that the actor had passed away after a brief but courageous battle. According to the statement, he passed away at Evercare Hospital due to complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
The actor, who is grieving the loss of his friend, has been spotted for the first time at his friend’s family’s home.
Comedian MC Mbakara paid a condolence visit to Alex’s family and was spotted conversing with Ogbonna.

In response to Alex’s rants, IK warned him not to mess with him as his day had already started on the wrong note.
In a sweet post, Alex shared some of the chats between him and IK, which started with a football comment and evolved into their normal banter. Alex shared the chats online to inquire about IK’s primary school educational proof after the latter misspelt a word.
Ogbonna responded with a funny expression, saying that Ekubo had been his worst friend ever.
Not done, Ekubo shared an embarrassing picture of Ogbonna online, stating he had finally seen the original version of his friend, which had been hidden from the public.
Reacting to the embarrassing image, IK lashed out at Alex for sharing it, given that the problem in Nigeria is worsening by the day.
When Alex’s ex-fiancée called off their engagement, IK had taken him on a vacation. The duo were seen enjoying a luxury ride in Port-Novo, Benin Republic. While IK was seen dancing to a song playing in the background, Ekubo seemed unaware of what was happening around him.
