Greta Van Fleet’s Jake Kiszka is a member of the band. He founded and plays guitar for the Michigan-based band Greta Van Fleet (GFV). Another name for him is Jacob Kiszka.
Jake started this band with his twin brother Joshua Kiszka and younger brother Samuel Kiszka in 2012, and a drummer named Kylie Hauck joined them a year later. Joshua Kiszka is the band’s lead vocalist, while Samuel Kiszka is the bassist. Kylie Hauck, who departed the band in 2013, has been replaced by Daniel Wagner.
Jake Kiszka was born in Frankenmuth, Michigan, on April 23, 1996, in the USA. Jacob Kiszka is another name for him.
Jake, born into a musical family, began playing with his father’s musical instruments at the age of three and began playing guitar at the age of six. He continued to improve his guitar skills and, at the age of 16, formed the Greta Van Fleet band.
Jake Kiszka, the band’s guitarist, enjoys hammering out crunchy riffs to set the tone for retro ambient music. Greta Van Fleet, his band, is inspired and influenced by Led Zeppelin, and these Michigan kids are reclaiming the music of the 1970s.
Jake also provides backing vocals for the band. With “Highway Tune,” he and the band made their musical debut, reaching the top 10 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Jake has performed at the Louder Than Life festival with Ozzy Osbourne.

Jake Kiszka comes from a musical family. His father was a chemist from Michigan who loved 1970s rock music and had a collection of musical instruments.
He used to enjoy playing the harmonica. His mother, Karen Kiszka, a science teacher, enjoyed the music.
His twin brother, Joshua Kiszka (Josh), has a vocal style similar to Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant. Samuel Kiszka (Sam), his younger brother, plays bass and is also the keyboardist for GFV.
As far as his education is concerned Jake Kiszka is a high school graduate and has attended Frankenmuth High School and Delta College.
