The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has fixed a final mop-up examination for the 2026 UTME cycle, giving selected candidates one last opportunity to complete their admission journey after earlier disruptions and technical setbacks.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the mop-up examination for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
According to a statement by the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, the exercise is designed for candidates who were biometrically verified but were unable to sit the examination due to technical or other related challenges.
The mop-up examination represents the final stage of the 2026 UTME cycle and is intended to resolve all outstanding issues affecting eligible candidates.
Those scheduled to participate are advised to start printing their Examination Notification Slips from Saturday, June 6, 2026.
