The newly-appointed Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets, Eboboritse Uwejamomere has picked his assistants.
The Eagle Online recalls the Nigeria Football Federation had earlier appointed him and Abdu Maikaba for national teams roles.
Maikaba is to oversee the Under-20 team, popularly called the Flying Eagles.
Uwejamomere picked Coaches Olumide Joseph Ajibolade (first assistant), Mohammed Kalli Kachala (second assistant) and Abdullahi Isa (goalkeepers’ trainer) to assist him in building a new Under-17 team.
The aim is to ensure the return of the Golden Eaglets’ squad to the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals and work assiduously towards a sixth global title.
This year’s WAFU B U-17 Boys Championship will take place in September, and will serve as the qualification tournament for next year’s Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
