The Police have commenced  manhunt for the Osobia of Ijebu Makun-Omi, Waterside LGA of Ogun State, Oba  Kazeem Adeshina Salami a.k.a  “All Rounder”, for allegedly hiring armed thugs to attack a property consultant, Stanley Oripelaye, for land grabbing in Eti-Osa, Local  Government Area of Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the claim was made in a petition submitted to the Inspector General of Police, which alleged a pattern of assault, intimidation, and property damage linked to land grabbing.

This was contained in a petition by the

Cosmopolitan Properties Ltd to the Inspector General of Police, alleging a sustained campaign of criminal harassment, assault, burglary and threat to life against its staff and property in Eti-Osa, Lagos State, allegedly carried out by five named suspects acting on the instruction of one Alhaji Salami Kazeem, also known as “All Rounder”.

In the petition dated 14th October, 2025 and written by Kayode Sofola & Associates, the company said the suspects—Idowu Hassan, Saheed Abiodun, Abidoye Opeyemi, Segun a.k.a. “Obasanjo,” and Alujo—repeatedly broke into its land at Sections 13, 28, 43, 58 and 73, Zone 31, Alasia/Ajiwe, and assaulted its security personnel.

According to the petition, the first incident occurred in June 2025 when the suspects allegedly broke into the property and “viciously assaulted” the company’s security guard, Afolabi Yisau. A complaint was lodged at Ogombo Police Station, but the firm alleged no arrest or charge followed.

The petition further alleged that in mid-July 2025, the same group returned, physically attacked the guard again, inflicted bruises and threatened to kill him if he did not vacate the property. Another report was allegedly made to Ogombo Police Station with no action taken, the letter claimed.

Towards the end of July 2025, the suspects allegedly obstructed the property entrance with a Toyota Sienna belonging to Idowu Hassan, beat up the guard and damaged parts of the building. The petition stated that Police arrested the suspects and recovered illicit drugs from the vehicle.

Cosmopolitan Properties alleged that despite the arrests, the suspects were released unconditionally and continued to harass the company’s staff through August and September 2025. The petition described the release as being done while the suspects allegedly received “VIP treatment” at the station.

On 18th September,, 2025, the company’s property consultant, Mr. Stanley Oripelaye, allegedly came under attack on the property by the suspects armed with cutlasses and daggers. He reportedly escaped narrowly, and the suspects then allegedly damaged the roof of the building after failing to locate the guard.

The petition said pictures of the damage were attached and submitted to Ogombo Police Station, but alleged that no steps were taken to restore order. The most recent incident cited occurred on 12th October, 2025, when the suspects allegedly broke in again to harass the security personnel.

In a follow-up letter dated 29th January, 2026, Mr. Oripelaye wrote directly to the IGP under the heading “Save Our Soul,” stating that the earlier petition had not led to a thorough investigation and that the threats had continued, causing sleepless nights.

The follow-up letter requested that CSP Mohammed Abdulkareem of the IGP Monitoring Unit be instructed to carry out a thorough investigation. It also noted that Kazeem Salami a.k.a. “All Rounder” had sued the IGP, Stanley Oripelaye and others for N350 million over alleged rights infringement, but lost the case on 4th December, 2025.

Cosmopolitan Properties said it remains a law-abiding organisation and has refrained from taking the law into its own hands despite the alleged attacks, which it said have disrupted its business operations and put its staff in fear for their safety.

The company is urging the IGP’s office to intervene and ensure the safety of its staff, a thorough investigation of the allegations, and prosecution where evidence supports it. The allegations in the petition have not been tested in court, and the named individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
