  • A Nigerian lady has sparked concern online after claiming that her mother and brother were kidnapped while travelling to their farm in Ogun State.
  • According to her, the abductors allegedly demanded ₦100 million before negotiations reportedly reduced the amount to ₦50 million.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media in tears after alleging that her mother and brother were kidnapped while travelling to their farm in Ogun State.

In a viral emotional video, the lady narrated that both family members travelled early in the morning and had safely arrived at the farm before communication suddenly stopped.

According to her, she initially believed there was a network problem after her brother stopped responding to messages and calls.

“Yesterday, my mum and my brother travelled. They even travelled before I woke up. When they got there, I spoke with my brother, I spoke to my mum, we even sent pictures,” she said emotionally.

The lady explained that she later became worried after she could no longer reach them.

She further disclosed that she later received a voice note from her mother allegedly informing her that they had been kidnapped.

According to her, the abductors initially demanded ₦100 million before the ransom was reportedly negotiated down to ₦50 million.

“I saw my mum’s notification come in. She sent a voice note. This morning again, she called and asked how much have we raised? They are asking for cash,” she said.

The distraught lady also revealed that her mother informed her that she had not seen her brother since the abduction, claiming both victims were allegedly separated by the kidnappers.

“I asked her where my brother was, she said she has not seen my brother, that they carried them separately,” she added.

The incident has triggered emotional reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and calling on security agencies to urgently intervene.
