The survivor is Diamond Garrett from West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. On November 3, 2012, at age 18, she was shot nine times (with AK-47 and AR-15 rifles) while giving a friend a ride. She was caught in a car chase that left 79 bullet holes in the car. The bullets damaged her spine, leaving her paralyzed.
Years later, Diamond has become an inspiration. She dances in her wheelchair and lives life fully. In the latest viral video (shared widely on May 12-13, 2026), her loving girlfriend gently holds and supports her to stand for photos. The moment shows pure love and strength.
