Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has disclosed why she stopped going to church to all and sundry.………
Funke Akindele made this known today, May 3rd, 2026, via the insta-stories section of her official Instagram page, which has 16.7 million followers.
According to Funke Akindele, she stopped going to church because whenever she attends the house of God, people always focus on taking her pictures.
She noted that church attenders will not concentrate on the sermon being preached at the church by the pastor; they prefer to take pictures of her.
The Queen of the Box Office stressed that the way people at the church lose their steeze and composure at church when they see her makes her stop going to church.
She noted that on Sundays, she always joins church service online instead of going to church physically.
Speaking about her Sunday activities, Funke Akindele uttered that she presently has no chef, so she cooks by herself, joins the church online, edits some of her works, and relaxes so as to get ready for the coming week.
