Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has responded to concerns raised by the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Afam Osigwe, over the Federal Government’s plan to build residential housing for judges.
According to a report published on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the NBA President had expressed worries that providing housing for judicial officers could create the impression of undue influence and potentially threaten the independence of the judiciary.
