There has been an outpour of messages following the painful death of actor Alex Ekubo.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 41 years old.

The likes of Funke Akindele, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, Mercy Johnson , Mode Duncan, Bolanle Ninalowo, Peggy Ovire, Linda Ejiofor, Peggy Ovire, and others had mourned him.

More stars have taken to social media to mourn the beloved actor.

Mo Abudu wrote, “Dear Alex

You will be so deeply missed.

You were such a beautiful human being, loving, real, kind, and always so respectful every single time we worked together. You called me “Mum,” and it always gave me such a warm feeling.

We hadn’t spoken in a while. I remember you travelled last year and replied when you got back. I sent another message after that, and when you didn’t respond, I didn’t follow up. I never imagined there wouldn’t be another chance.

When I had dinner with @omonioboli on her last trip to Lagos, we spoke so warmly about you. @heidiwena and I did the same not long after. You were always remembered with affection, respect, and genuine love.

You were a truly gifted actor. This scene from Your Excellency remains one of my favourites, a reminder of your talent, your charm, and the light you brought to every set.

Rest in peace, Alex

All my love”.

Ruth Kadiri wrote, “Such a heavy day. I made sure to check up on you regularly. I feared for this day, yet it finally came. Rest well, Alex. And god give your family the heart to bear the loss. Sleep well Ikuku

Kunle Remi, “Ikuku The Breeze…… Your Caption says it all.

You walked this earth with GRACE, KINDNESS, PEACE, LOVE.
And everything in between.
Thanks for sharing yourself with us.

This REALLY Hurts Bro!
I checked on you…
I still spoke about you yesterday…
A GOOD MAN!

In everything,

JESUS IS LORD!

God is taking care of you.
Bask in His peace”.

Ufuoma McDermott wrote, “Thanks for being one of the easiest people to love. Est now my darling
