A disturbing video making rounds on social media has left many Nigerians in shock and fear. In Fagba, Lagos State, a man believed to be a cult member was interviewed in the ghetto area and openly described the deadly tests new members must pass before joining their group.………
According to the man, who partly covered his face, one major test is to eat a piece of a human being’s kidney. “You’ll need to eat a human being’s kidney first to prove how brave you are before we can allow you to join us. That’s one of the tests. And if you can’t eat it, it means you are weak-minded, then you are going back to your parents’ house,” he said boldly.
The interview, which surfaced on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, has sparked massive reactions online. Many wonder if such cannibalism is truly happening in parts of Lagos. The video shows the man speaking casually as if it is normal, raising fears about how deep cult activities have gone in some communities.
Fagba and surrounding areas like Agege and Abule Egba have had reports of cult-related violence in the past, but this revelation has taken the conversation to another level. Parents and youths are now more worried about the safety of young boys who live or hang around these ghettos. Security experts say such initiations often involve crime, robbery, and killings to get human parts.
Social media users have reacted strongly. One person wrote, “Dem don dey chop human being fr? This country don finish!” Another commented, “If this is true, police should storm that Fagba area now. Our children are not safe.” Many called it “pure evil” and warned parents to monitor their wards. Some doubted the man, saying “This one dey lie joor,” while others begged, “God forbid our pikin enter this kind thing.”
This viral clip has once again brought attention to the dangers of cultism in Lagos. Police and community leaders are urged to act fast before more young lives are destroyed. Residents in Fagba say such groups operate mostly at night, and many innocent boys get lured with money and protection promises.
