Form “Bandits Must Go” To “Tinubu Must Go” Protest, Youths Takeover Abuja

The protest started mildly with “Bandits Must Go”; “Terrorists Must Go” outburst of Nigerian Youths in Abuja. The protest is being reinforced by the participation of social media influencers and activists.

The protesting youths started with protest march to the Nigeria Air Force Base, Abuja, questioning the huge defence budget vis-a-vis the worsening insecurity and seeming ascendency of terrorists, kidnappers in several parents of the country.

The protest immersed into the June 12 Democracy Day mass action in various states of the Federation. Being sustained beyond the Democracy Day, the protesters have extended their grievances and agitation to “Tinubu Must Go” in several parts of Abuja.

They have taken over the Karu, Maraba entry and exit axis of the FCT, Abuja, on Saturday, displaying their rage of fury. They display placards and banners relaying: “South is Bleeding”; “West Is Bleeding”; East Is Bleeding”; “North Is Bleeding”. They consistently chorus – TINUBU MUST GO!!!!

The roads, the streets, are agog with mass protests. Children, parents, youths are experiencing nightmare in the cold forests, frightened by the ferocious guns of their captor terrorists.
