  • A Nigerian man, Princewills, has accused GTBank of withholding ₦5 million belonging to him for two weeks despite multiple calls to customer care.
  • He further alleged that the bank intends to arrest him, prompting an outpouring of reactions online.
  • While some social media users sympathized with his situation and advised him to seek legal assistance, others questioned the source of the funds and suggested there may be reasons behind the bank’s actions.

A Nigerian man identified as Princewills has taken to social media to call out GTBank, alleging that the bank has been holding ₦5 million belonging to him for two weeks.

In a post that has since gained attention online, Princewills appealed to fellow Nigerians for help, claiming repeated efforts to resolve the issue through customer service have yielded no results.

“My fellow Nigerians, help me please. GTBank wants to arrest me. They have been holding my 5 million naira for two weeks. I have called customer care several times.”
