The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The announcement was made on Tuesday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, in an official statement.

The main 2026 UTME was conducted across 966 computer-based test (CBT) centres nationwide between April 16 and 23. However, technical challenges at some centres prevented a number of candidates from sitting the examination.

To address this, the Board organised a mop-up examination on June 13 for affected candidates.

JAMB advised all candidates who participated in the mop-up exercise to check their results through its official result-checking channels.

“Candidates who participated in the examination can check their results through the Board’s established result-checking channels,” the statement said.

The Board also disclosed that the results would be available for printing before the end of the week, after which the ranking of candidates would commence.

“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates. Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend,” the statement added.

JAMB expressed appreciation to candidates and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the conduct of the examination and the subsequent mop-up exercise.

The Board had earlier stated that there would be no further opportunity for candidates to sit the 2026 UTME after the mop-up examination.
