In the heartbreaking video, the man is seen quietly sitting beside his young child, who had fallen asleep next to him, appeared deep in thought when he is approached.
Concerned about his situation, Mosiria engaged him to understand whether he was okay and what had brought him to the street.

Asked why he was on the streets with the baby, he explained that he was waiting in hope that someone might offer him a job opportunity.
According to him, he had chosen to stay there with his child because his wife was at home, unwell and unable to assist, leaving the family in a difficult and uncertain situation.
Why family needed cash
After further engagement, his wife was contacted and shared deeper details about their struggles.
She revealed that her husband works as a driver but has recently been unable to secure work due to a leg problem.
She also disclosed that she had just given birth a few days earlier and was currently unable to work or support the family.
The family also shared that they had been seeking a modest start-up of KSh 20,000 to help them establish a small business, pay rent, and stabilise their household as they recover from their hardship.

Elvis Masika and his family live in the slums, where he had been the sole caregiver for his mother, who depended on him for everything.
Masika disclosed that apart from seeking treatment for the ailing parent, he also needed a job, prompting Kenyans to buy him a motorbike to do boda boda business.
