Aboy and His Wife Reportedly Donates Over 200 Chairs to OPM Church During Their Wedding Thanksgiving.

A young man named Aboy Chibuzor and his wife have done something that has caught the attention of many church members and social media users. The couple reportedly donated over 200 plastic chairs to Omega Power Ministries (OPM) on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The donation happened during their wedding thanksgiving service at the church headquarters in Port Harcourt.

According to reports, the couple decided to give the chairs as a way of showing gratitude to God for bringing them together as husband and wife. It was their way of saying thank you for a marriage that many people did not see coming.

Who Is Aboy Chibuzor?

For those who may not know, Aboy is the adopted son of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the founder of OPM. Aboy has autism, a condition that affects how a person communicates and behaves. For a long time, many people wondered if he would ever get married. But earlier this year, that question was answered.

Aboy married an Edo-born mother of three. The wedding took place on March 29, 2026. What made this union even more interesting was the fact that Apostle Chibuzor had offered incentives to any woman willing to marry his adopted son. The package was generous and included several things.

What the Couple Received

The support package that came with marrying Aboy was no small thing. According to information available, the couple received:

These offers were made public by Apostle Chibuzor, and they certainly got people talking. Some criticized the approach, while others saw it as a father doing everything possible to ensure his child experiences love and companionship.

The bride herself has spoken about her decision to marry Aboy. She stated that she was divinely instructed by the Holy Spirit to go ahead with the marriage, despite his health condition. For her, this was not about money or the incentives. It was about following what she believed was a spiritual direction.

Since the wedding in March, many people who follow the OPM church or know the family have observed something interesting. Aboy appears to be more calm and calculated in his recent public appearances. Some say he looks more settled. Others have pointed out that his behavior seems to have improved compared to before the marriage.

Photos and videos from the thanksgiving service show Aboy standing beside his wife, both of them looking happy. The donation of over 200 chairs was done right there during the service, and church members reportedly cheered the couple on.

The donation and the story behind it have sparked widespread discussion online. Many netizens have expressed surprise at how much Aboy seems to have changed. Some are giving credit to his wife for the positive influence. Others are simply happy to see that he is doing well.

One commenter wrote, “Marriage has done this young man well. He looks different. More put together.”

Another person said, “The bride knew what she was doing. Whether it was divine or not, the result is there for everyone to see.”

Of course, not everyone agrees with how the whole situation was set up. Some still feel that offering money to marry someone with autism is not the right approach. But for now, the couple seems to be doing fine, and the church is benefiting from their generosity.

The story of Aboy and his wife is one of those unusual Nigerian news stories that keeps people talking. A young man with autism, a bride who says she heard from God, a church leader who put up money to make it happen, and now a thanksgiving where chairs were given away. It is a lot to take in.
