ADC: Amaechi Cannot Point At Anybody In The NWC That You Can Say“This Is An Amaechi Man”-Abdullahi

In response to concerns regarding purported inequities within the leadership structure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, Bolaji Abdullahi, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s opposition politics and the spokesperson for the ADC coalition, has addressed the issue.

During an interview that took place on SYMFONI TV, Abdullahi responded to allegations of favouritism and unequal representation among important political actors in the coalition. These allegations specifically involved Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State, and Peter Obi, a former presidential contender.

In his presentation on the internal workings of the coalition, Abdullahi refuted the notion that Obi possesses an excessive amount of influence. Instead, he cited the makeup of the National Working Committee (NWC) as evidence of the coalition’s ability to maintain a balanced posture.

“Peter Obi was the one who brought one of my deputies to me,” I said. As Abdullahi put it, “Amaechi is unable to identify any member of the National Working Committee who can be considered an Amaechi man.”

Earlier narratives that suggested that certain individuals within the coalition leadership were being favoured over others appear to be contradicted by the remarks. The statement made by Abdullahi highlights the ongoing efforts that the Australian Democratic Congress coalition is making to ensure inclusion while simultaneously moderating the ambitions of its high-profile members.
