AMVCA 2026: The Complete List of Winners

The 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 2026) has come and gone, and what a night it was! My Father’s Shadow was the biggest winner of the evening, taking home five awards including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Writing in a Movie, Best Score/Music, and Best Sound/Sound Design. To Kill a Monkey and Colours of Fire came joint second with three wins each — To Kill a Monkey picking up Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Supporting Actor, while Colours of Fire took Best Costume Design, Best Art Direction, and Best Lead Actor. Lisabi (A Legend Is Born) and Inimba rounded out the top tier with two wins apiece.
