Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan (SAN) has released ₦135.65 million as Sallah support for APC executives across Borno Central Senatorial District ahead of the Eid Kabir celebration and ongoing political activities within the ruling party.

The cash package will be distributed across the eight local government areas in the district including Maiduguri, Jere, Konduga, Mafa, Bama, Ngala, Kala/Balge and Dikwa, targeting grassroots APC officials and ward executives.

The development comes as APC primaries begin to gather momentum nationwide, with political alignments and consultations intensifying ahead of the party’s internal contests.

According to the senator’s team, the intervention is aimed at appreciating party executives for their loyalty, commitment and continued support for the APC structure in Borno Central.
