A family in Bungoma is living through a nightmare after their loved one disappeared more than a week ago, leaving behind worried children, relatives and friends desperately searching for answers.

Claris Wassilwa Muyoka, popularly known as Clare, was reported missing 10 days ago under mysterious circumstances.
Where was Clare spotted?
Her disappearance has sparked an emotional online appeal as relatives continue to circulate her photographs across social media platforms and community forums.
In the latest development, Haron Etyang said Clare was reportedly spotted on Tuesday evening near Kwa Dismas, close to Muslim Primary School along the Bungoma–Mumias road.

According to witnesses, the missing woman appeared weak, withdrawn and unusually quiet, a stark contrast to the lively and social person her family says they know.
“Clare is normally warm, social and talkative,” the appeal read. “People who have recently seen her say she has not been speaking much.”
Family worried about Clare’s state of mind
The family fears she may be emotionally distressed, confused or struggling with a medical or mental condition, and they are urging members of the public to approach her gently if spotted.
Relatives have appealed to anyone who sees Clare to help keep her safe, assist her in getting medical attention if necessary, and immediately contact the family.
The disappearance has deeply shaken those close to her, especially her children, who continue to wait anxiously for news of her safe return.
