The family of the popular actor, whose full name is Alexx Ikenna Ekubo-Okwaraeke, announced his passing in an emotional statement released on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Alexx died at Evercare Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
The family described him as a loving husband, son, brother, and friend who endured his illness with remarkable strength, unwavering faith, and hope despite the pain.
They also appealed for privacy and prayers as the family mourns the tragic loss, adding that details regarding his funeral arrangements would be announced in due course.
