Abuja, Nigeria — There is growing concern in the Federal Capital Territory after a serving NYSC member and lawyer reportedly went missing after leaving her workplace in the Maitama area of Abuja.
According to information gathered from family sources, the young woman, identified in some reports as Eunice Ameh, was last seen after closing from work in Maitama, a high-security district within the nation’s capital. She was said to have departed her office on her usual route home but never arrived, raising alarm among relatives and colleagues.
Family members disclosed that repeated attempts to reach her phone have been unsuccessful since she left work, and her whereabouts remain unknown at the time of this report. The sudden disappearance has triggered anxiety within her family and professional circle.
Maitama, known for hosting government institutions, diplomatic residences, and corporate offices, is regarded as one of the most secure areas in Abuja. Despite this, incidents of missing persons and security concerns have continued to draw public attention in recent times.
The family has also appealed for anyone with useful information regarding her last movements to come forward.
