The immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Alphonsus Eba, has resigned from the party.
His resignation from the APC was contained in a letter dated May 7 and addressed to the Secretary, Echumofana Ward, Yala LGA.
In the letter, the former APC chairman stated that the values, peace, love and unity which typified the party had gone extinct.
Eba said: “I have sought an alternative platform where I can continue my political evangelism of peace, love, unity and growth.
“I write to inform you that I have withdrawn my membership of APC, and I humbly request that you delist my name from the party’s register before transmitting same to INEC.”
