All of them had passed away, leaving her with a few relatives who could not fully support her because they also had families and responsibilities of their own.

“I gave birth to many children, but God took them away. I remained alone with my relatives, but they also have families to care for. They are not financially stable, so taking care of me became difficult. I resorted to collecting and selling cans as my main source of income because I have no one else to rely on,” she said tearfully.

Granny opens up about husband

Sometimes, she goes for more than a month without seeing any family members or receiving any form of help, pushing her to continue searching for income-generating activities.

She also painfully spoke about her late husband, who died a few years ago, leaving her to face life alone.

“God loved him and took him. When he was alive, life was slightly better because we used to support each other. I started collecting cans long before he passed away. I told him we were already old and there was no hope of having more children. So he allowed me to do this work. He gave me his blessings and permission to work,” she added.
