Popular Nollywood actress Adeola Yusuf Kafirat Omashalewa, widely known as Basira Beere, has emotionally opened up about her failed marriage, revealing that she eventually left because she feared for her safety.
Speaking during an interview on the Talk-to-B podcast, the actress alleged that she suffered years of domestic violence, emotional abuse, and repeated mistreatment during the relationship.
According to Beere, her former husband frequently assaulted her physically, and she claimed that some of the incidents contributed to pregnancy complications and losses she experienced while they were together.
