Court frees Beatrice Wangari

In a different story, the High Court ordered that Beatrice Wangari be released after post-mortem findings showed how Dr Job Obwaka died.

In her ruling, Justice Kavedza Diana Rachel said that the findings of the autopsy weakened the basis for the woman’s continued detention.

The court also directed Wangari to report to investigators daily but found no evidence she had failed to cooperate or posed a flight risk.
