Senator Adams Oshiomhole has spoken about the xenophobic attacks against Nigerians living in South Africa. He said many Nigerians in South Africa were happy that he publicly defended them and spoke strongly against the attacks

In an interview with Arise TV, Oshiomhole said he accused the South African president of doing nothing while Nigerians were being attacked. He said he warned that if Nigeria decided to hit back at South Africa, the South African president would have no choice but to get on his knees and beg

Oshiomhole stated that after he made those strong comments, the South African president made a broadcast and condemned the xenophobic attacks
