Nairobi, Kenya: Angel Njeri Wambui has been missing for 13 days now, and her mum is beside herself with worry, as she does not know what became of her daughter.

Speaking to GossipsNG, Njeri’s mum said that just before her daughter went to school, they left the house with her younger brother in search of food items.
Njeri had visited her grandmother for the April holidays, and they had a great time with each other, and soon enough, it was time to return to St Catherine Girls High School in Murang’a county.

On May 1, the young girl was sent with her brother to the shops to buy food items, and the brother came back alone, saying they had parted ways with Njeri.
What happened to Njeri on May 1?
“Her brother said she told him to go home, and they would see each other later,” said Njeri’s mum,Jane Wambui
“Nothing wrong had happened at home to make the young lady angry, and everything was okay; her grandmother had even given her a talk on how to stay in school and maintain good behaviour all through,” said her mum.

According to Wambui, Njeri is a very active girl and is always happy. She also said that her daughter visibly shows any anger even when someone makes her angry.
“She will just be quiet about it, and later it will show in other ways. We have not slept since she went missing and need help to find her,” said her mum.
According to her mum, Njeri wasn’t with her during the holiday, so she was waiting to see her later so they did not have any argument.
Girl disappears while going to fetch water
In a different story, Irine Adhiambo went missing while fetching water in a river near their home in Migori, Kenya, a chore that she does without any problem on a regular basis.
Her family shared the last moments of the girl at home, her demeanour at home, and also registered shock, as Irine had not returned since April 2.
Being a student at a local school in Uriri, Migori county, many are wondering what could have happened to the girl, as she should be in school by now.
