The Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja, has adjourned the alleged N8.7 billion money laundering case involving former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, until June 23, 2026.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik fixed the new date on Friday after the defence team requested another adjournment in the ongoing trial.
Malami, alongside his wife, Hajia Bashir Asabe, and son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, is currently facing a 16-count charge filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The anti-graft agency accused the defendants of conspiracy, concealment, laundering and disguising proceeds of unlawful activities amounting to over N8.7 billion….....>>>
