The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) is set to host the 2026 Oil & Gas Midstream and Downstream Stakeholders Summit in Lagos.

The summit will take place from May 19 to 20, 2026, at Four Points by Sheraton Lagos, Victoria Island.

According to the organisers, the summit is aimed at bringing together key decision-makers, government officials, regulators, institutional investors, financiers, operators, and EPC contractors to explore emerging opportunities within Nigeria’s evolving midstream and downstream sectors.

The event will be hosted by the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Felix Omatsola Ogbe.

Organisers said the summit comes against the backdrop of the implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), which is expected to deepen transparency and strengthen Nigeria’s investment climate in the oil and gas industry.

The summit is expected to provide a strategic platform for stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and investment opportunities across the oil and gas value chain.

Expected participants include senior executives in the oil and gas industry, midstream and downstream operators, regulatory agencies, government representatives, technical experts, and other stakeholders across the energy sector.

According to NCDMB, the summit will also facilitate discussions on the implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010 and the Ministerial Regulations 2021.

The event will further provide a platform for the unveiling of the new NCDMB Midstream and Downstream Operating Model, while addressing industry challenges and emerging opportunities within the sector.

Participants are expected to gain insights into policy direction, regulatory frameworks, Nigerian content development initiatives, and emerging investment opportunities. The summit will also offer networking opportunities with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the industry.

Attendance at the summit is strictly by invitation, while participation is free for invited stakeholders.
