President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has rejoiced with the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, as he celebrates his 55th birthday on May 15.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made this known in a statement he issued to newsmen.
In the statement on Friday, Onanuga said President Tinubu described Adedokun as a seasoned administrator and procurement expert whose wealth of experience and commitment to institutional reforms have significantly improved public procurement standards and governance outcomes in the country.
He said: “Under Adedokun’s leadership, the Bureau of Public Procurement has been repositioned to play its vital role in promoting due process, transparency, prudent management of public resources, and strengthening confidence in government procurement processes.
“His record of public service reflects patriotism and dedication to national development.
“As you mark this 55th birthday, I pray for your continued good health, wisdom, and strength in the service of our dear country.”
