Sc@ndal: Noodles Video of the Popular Herbal Vendor Sisi Alagbo Le@ks Online.

It seems like every week, another online personality finds themselves in the middle of a storm. This time, the spotlight is on a popular Ibadan-based herbal practitioner known as Sisi Alagbo.

A pr!v@te video featuring the agbo seller, another woman, and an unidentified man started making the rounds on social media earlier this week. The clip, which many are now calling the “noodles video,” has quickly become the latest online sca@dal. Just days ago, TikTok user Cindy Oshodi faced a similar situation. Now, Sisi Alagbo is the name on everyone’s lips, but for all the wrong reasons.

The herbal vendor, whose real name is Eniola, has built a solid following over time. She currently has more than 371,000 followers on Facebook, where she is known for promoting products related to fertility, infection treatments, and men’s wellness. But her online fame has now turned into a source of deep distress.

After keeping quiet for a while, Eniola finally spoke up on her Facebook page. She did not deny what happened. Instead, she owned up to her mistake straight away.

“I own my mistakes and I apologise with all sincerity of the video circulating online,” she wrote.

She went on to say she was deeply sorry to anyone who felt let down by her actions. She described the whole situation as a difficult phase in her life.

“This is a great phase for me and I pray for God forgiveness and my fans forgiveness, please let’s move on pass this because this media is where I get little support to feed,” she added.

But the apology did not stop there. The herbal vendor also opened up about how the backlash has been affecting her physically and emotionally. She pleaded with those criticising her to stop, saying she had not been able to eat or sleep properly for days since the video went viral.

“Pls don’t condemn me or castigate me am already passing through a lot, I can’t eat or sleep for days even sleeping meds aren’t working for me anyone longer,” she said.

In a more disturbing part of her post, she hinted that the pressure was becoming too much to bear.

“Please forgive me i don’t want to injure myself it’s only little strength i have,” she wrote.

Since she shared this message, reactions have been deeply divided. Some social media users are still criticising her, insisting that she should face the consequences of her actions. Others, however, have called for the video to stop being shared further. They argue that constantly circulating the clip is only adding to her pain and that she deserves a chance to recover from the scandal.

One commenter wrote, “She has apologised. What more do you want? Leave the woman alone.” Another person said, “This is why you have to be careful. The internet does not forget.”

There is also a growing number of people calling on the Nigerian government to step in and find a way to stop such pr!v@te videos from trending online in the first place. They argue that better rules and enforcement could help prevent people from having their lives destroyed overnight.

As for Sisi Alagbo, she has made it clear that her online business is her only source of income. She sells her herbal products mostly through Facebook, and that little support is what she uses to feed herself. Now, she is afraid that this sc@ndal could take all of that away from her.

The video is still trending on Telegram and X(Twitter).
