Nigerian priest Joshua Iginla spoke about divine purpose, generational effect, and destiny in a recent sermon that was uploaded to YouTube on May 13, 2026. A person’s fate cannot be concealed indefinitely, he said in his speech, therefore he urged his audience to have optimism despite the constraints of life.………
The prophet fervently told his listeners, “It reaches a point where they can no longer hide you,” reiterating his conviction that, even in the face of adversity, God’s will is ultimately revealed. It is his belief that each person has a certain purpose in life that drives them to achieve greatness.
According to Prophet Iginla, “Your future is calling you,” which is an expansion of this principle. I am not supposed to stay hidden within the house, your destiny is telling you. Purpose, he said, has a way of lifting individuals out of oblivion and setting them up to make a bigger splash in the world.
The preacher used Moses’s narrative from the Bible to make his point. He made the astute observation that Moses himself became one of the most famous individuals in biblical history, whereas his parents received comparatively little attention in scripture. He made the observation that, “We did not hear much about Moses’ father… but there was so much said about Moses,” demonstrating how fate may take a person above their origins and social standing.
Family and future generations were also prayed for throughout the sermon. They will never be able to stifle the brilliance of your children, Prophet Iginla blessed them and their accomplishments. They will not have their stars obscured. His proclamation emphasised the importance of safeguarding the younger generation, ensuring their success, and giving them a sense of purpose.
He went on to quote from scripture, saying, “As arrows are in the hands of a warrior, so are the children in the hands of their father,” highlighting the significance of providing spiritual leadership and protection within families.
