Professor Udenta Udenta has criticised the current administration, accusing it of lacking a clear message for Nigerians and diverting attention from governance to political opponents.

Udenta made the remarks during an interview on SYMFONI TV, where he assessed the communication strategy of government officials and the broader political climate ahead of future elections. His comments come amid growing public discourse on leadership performance and opposition politics in Nigeria.

Speaking during the programme, the political analyst said, “Now, the problem we have with this government and those who speak for the president is that they have nothing to tell the people. Leave Mr Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso and other leaders alone. Focus on next election.” He argued that constant references to opposition figures reflect a lack of substantive engagement with pressing national issues affecting citizens.

Udenta’s remarks highlight ongoing tensions between the ruling government and opposition figures, particularly Obi and Kwankwaso, who remain influential voices in Nigeria’s political landscape.
