According to a video on Fox News, on Tuesday May 11, 2026, President Donald Trump warned that an Iran equipped with nuclear weapons would pose a danger not just to the United States but to the entire world, and stated flatly that no such outcome will be permitted to occur under his administration.………

The remarks were delivered during a press gaggle as Trump prepared to board his flight to China for a major summit.

A reporter asked whether Trump was concerned about how American families were feeling the financial impact of the conflict, including higher prices at the pump and in grocery stores.

Trump acknowledged the pressures but pivoted to the broader stakes of the situation.

In his words, President Trump said, “Every American understands, and they just had a poll — like 85% — which is surprising it’s only that. They understand that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. If Iran has a nuclear weapon, the whole world would be in trouble because they happen to be crazy. They’re not going to have a nuclear weapon,” he said.

Trump used the poll figure to argue that the American public broadly agrees with his position, suggesting that the 85 percent figure represents near-universal understanding of why the war is being fought.

He described those who might oppose the campaign as failing to grasp the scale of what a nuclear-armed Iran would mean for global security.

The president went on to say that once the war concludes, economic conditions will improve rapidly.

He predicted that oil prices, which he noted were lower than expected at around 99 dollars per barrel, will fall further, and that the stock market will climb to new record levels in the aftermath of a settlement or military conclusion…....…
