Elder statesman, former Security Adviser to the Rivers State Government, and chieftain of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Anabs Sara-Igbe, criticized the leadership record of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in a video posted on Symfoni on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.………
Sara-Igbe, who has remained a vocal figure in Rivers State politics and Niger Delta affairs, argued that many residents of the state were dissatisfied with Wike’s performance during his eight years as governor of Rivers State. He claimed that despite Wike’s reputation for infrastructural development, many of the projects executed under his administration did not directly improve the welfare of ordinary residents.
According to him, “He has ruled for 8 years, and so many of us were not satisfied with his leadership even though he prided himself as Mr. Project. The project he can call his own is the flyover as he built it. There are no significant projects that touch the lives of many common people in Rivers State. In 8 years, he ruled without a budget.”
