Apiyo’s aunt, Hilda, told GossipsNG that the young girl is a Form Three student at Inoro Girls Secondary School.
Hilda explained that the 16-year-old disappeared from home on Saturday, 18 April at around 6 pm while she was on holiday.
Her father had gone for training at a nearby field and was not home when she left.
“She lives with her father and stepmother in the Blue Gum area in Nanyuki. She just left. We are not sure if she had an argument with her stepmother, but her dad was not around when she left,” she said.

The worried aunt also shared that Beyonce had packed her clothes before leaving.
Has Beyonce Apiyo gone missing before?
According to the aunt, the 16-year-old previously lived in an orphanage and had once escaped last year.
However, she later returned, and the Children’s Department was involved in ensuring she lived with her father.
“I wanted custody, but since her father is still alive, he was given full custody. Now she is missing yet again, and we do not know where she has gone,” said Hilda.
The family is appealing to anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact her aunt via 0795 705 950 or 0722 662 698, or report to the nearest police station.
“Beyonce, if you can see this message, please come back home,” her aunt pleaded.
