Youth groups in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, have staged a peace walk calling on the government and security agencies to improve safety in the area.
The demonstration comes in response to rising insecurity, including recent abductions and attacks affecting schools and local communities. Participants carried placards urging authorities to take urgent action to protect lives and property.
Organizers said the walk aimed to promote peaceful coexistence while pressing the government to address security challenges, especially in vulnerable communities.
They also called on residents to cooperate with security agencies and report suspicious activities to prevent further incidents.
