A female corpse was discovered by residents around Anamco axis of Emene, after the smell was detected.
According to an eye witness that spoke to CoalCity Connect, the corpse seem to be that of a female and have probably been abandoned there for a while without anyone noticing it.
They went on to say that this is the second time in recent times, that a corpse was found along that road.
Residents of the area, went to say that the road is usually dark and abandoned without any street lights, giving evil men the opportunity to commit all sorts of crimes along that road.
They are calling on the state government to look at putting street lights along the road, pointing that people get robbed, car gets stolen along that road, and now evil people have turned it into dumping site for bodies.
We hope that the Police in Enugu will not only start catching drug traffickers but will also start apprehending people that commit these crimes.
