The lady, known on social media as Joyceknursecanada, revealed that she is travelling back home to remove a woman she had previously welcomed into her home out of compassion.

Joyce had earlier expressed shock after claiming that a woman she believed was a struggling widow had moved into her property with her five children, only for her allegedly deceased husband to appear later and begin living there as well.

At the time, she felt betrayed after learning that the man was alive and had reportedly moved onto the property without her knowledge.

She also alleged that additional relatives had occupied parts of the compound and that her attempts to contact the woman were unsuccessful.

In a fresh update, Joyce confirmed that she had travelled from Canada to Kenya to personally address the situation and remove the family from the property.

Despite the painful experience, she admitted that her greatest concern remained the children’s welfare.

“I feel for the kids because I had loved them and started dressing them and educating them,” she said emotionally.

Joyce explained that she had become deeply attached to the woman’s five children and had even begun supporting them with basic needs.

According to her, she had envisioned a brighter future for them and was exploring ways to help them access more opportunities.

“I had started thinking of how I can file for asylum for them in Canada,” she added.

Her remarks highlighted the extent of the emotional investment she had made in the family before discovering information that she says left her feeling deceived.

The story has continued to spark debate on social media, with many sympathising with Joyce’s disappointment.

Others expressed concern about the impact the eviction may have on the children, who are now caught in the middle of the dispute.

For Joyce, however, the experience left a lasting lesson about trust and the risks that can sometimes accompany acts of generosity, particularly when helping strangers from a distance.

While she says she has taken steps to regain control of her property, she maintains that her heart still aches for the five children she had come to regard as her own.
