Kenneth Okonkwo, a renowned Nollywood actor and former Labour Party Chieftain has taken to his official X handle to voice his displeasure over the antics of the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that if the former governor was looking for campaign funds, he should politely request for assistance.
His comments came after reports that the former governor and his legal representatives filed a petition against him, demanding five billion naira (N5b) in damages gained traction across various social media platforms.
The former Anambra State governor, it can be recalled, had been on the spotlight for the wrong reasons after he was accused of accepting funds to compromise NDC primary election results.
Kenneth Okonkwo, in the recent post on his verified X account, pointed out that the demands were laughable, maintaining that the former governor was guilty of all the allegations leveled against him.
To substantiate his claims, the former Labour Party spokesman shared evidence of interactions with an NDC aspirant, Obunike Ohaegbu, who disclosed what transpired during the NDC primary elections.
