A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sentenced a woman to 20 years in prison after she was found guilty of unlawfully possessing 302 rounds of AK-47 live ammunition and attempting to provide support for terrorism.

The convict, Halima Haliru Umar, a resident of Unguwan Boka in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, did not contest the charges against her. When she was arraigned on March 11, she pleaded guilty to two of the four counts brought against her by the Department of State Services — and that decision sealed her fate.......>>>
