Ikeja LG Boss Participates In Lagos West Senatorial District Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos West Senatorial District Primary Election was successfully held yesterday at the Ikeja Sports Centre, Oluwaleyimu Street, Ikeja, amidst massive turnout and impressive party unity.

The primary election returned the incumbent Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Dr. (Mrs.) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, unopposed, reaffirming the confidence and trust reposed in her leadership and representation by party stakeholders and members across the district.

Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, MHR, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency and a respected member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), led party leaders, stakeholders, fellow GAC members and loyal APC faithful within Ikeja Federal Constituency to unanimously affirm and endorse the candidacy of Senator Adebule for another term in office.

Party members trooped out in large numbers to witness the peaceful and well-coordinated primary exercise, while also giving their overwhelming support and nod to the re-election bid of Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule as Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District.

Speaking after the exercise, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), commended party leaders for sustaining the progressive ideals and unity of the APC in Ikeja and Lagos State at large.

Comrade Dauda particularly appreciated Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for his exceptional leadership, political coordination, mentorship and consistency in leading the party in Ikeja to continuous victories over the years. He also applauded party members across Ikeja Federal Constituency for their loyalty, dedication, steadfastness and unwavering support for the All Progressives Congress.

Comrade Dauda expressed confidence that the APC would continue to record greater successes in future elections owing to the unity, strength and commitment displayed by party faithful during the primary exercise.
