The mother-daughter pair celebrated academic milestones by graduating on the same day from the University of Namibia (UNAM).

“Another powerful family moment this graduation season!✨Congratulations to Candy Limbo (Master of Education–Leadership, Management and Policy Studies) and her daughter, Mukwae Limbo (Bachelor of Education–Upper Primary Honours), who graduated together from UNAM Katima Mulilo Campus. It was an especially exciting moment for Candy because it was the second time she was graduating from the university, while her daughter followed in her footsteps.

Her first graduation came in 1998 when she earned her second diploma in education before continuing with her studies.

“I’m very happy because my daughter is also graduating on the same day,” she said, with her daughter Mukwae sharing the same excitement.

Mukwae expressed her joy at graduating alongside her mother, who had inspired her throughout her academic journey until she finally completed her degree programme.

The pair looked delighted as they posed for lovely photos, proudly celebrating their achievement in graduation regalia.

“I am coming back for my master’s,” Mukwae happily said before giving her mother a high five.

In a similar story, AP Fleetwood and her lovely daughter, Zharria, made their family proud after achieving an enviable academic milestone together.

The two were overjoyed as they graduated on the same day from the same university, although with different qualifications.

Fleetwood’s youngest daughter had also graduated from high school earlier, making it a season of celebration for the entire family.

The pair shared lovely photos in their graduation regalia as they celebrated the achievement and proudly held their certificates.

Fleetwood also expressed her joy in a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating the milestone.

“This past weekend was one I will never forget. Southern New Hampshire University showed us so much love. The experience we shared was phenomenal. That day will always hold a special place in our lives. @_zharriaa, thank you for pushing me and always being the voice of reason,” she wrote.

The family’s achievement captured the attention of social media users, who flocked to the comment section to congratulate them and send warm messages.
